Twenty-Seven Duval County Public Schools Chosen for “Schools of Excellence” Award

Strong schools provide the foundation for a strong community, which is why it is important to Jacksonville that Duval public schools continue to be honored by the Florida Department of Education (FLDOE). By demonstrating student achievement, several public schools were selected by the FLDOE as “Schools of Excellence” and Duval Charter School at Baymeadows was one of them.

To be eligible, a school had to receive a grade of A or B in each of three most recent school years and rank in the 80th percentile or higher for their school type for at least two of the three past school years. Once chosen, a school remains a School of Excellence for three years, and may then be renewed.

Congratulation to our Baymeadows Panthers!
